Day 1 - Welcome to Sri Lanka – The Journey Begins…
Negombo
Land in Sri Lanka and meet your SHESCAPES tour guide! After airport pick
up, we head to our chic boutique hotel in Negombo.

Day 2 - The Day of Gentle Giants – Sanctuary to Safari…
Pinnawala
This magical experience is all about bonding with nature’s gentle giants - up
close, personal, and in the wild. Morning a peaceful start at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where rescued baby elephants and their older friends are cared for with love. Evening head of on an exciting jeep safari through Minneriya National Park- home to one of the largest wild elephant gatherings in Asia! Keep your cameras ready!
Dinner & Overnight stay at Dambulla.

Day 3 - A Day in Sigiriya – Village Life & Ancient Legends…
Sigiriya Rock Fortress
Step in to a world of nature, culture and just the right amount of adventure with your little
explorers by your side.
Start your day with a heartwarming village tour where you’ll travel the traditional way- by
bullock carts and canoe through paddy fields and past serene lakes. Along the way, meet
friendly locals, visit a village home, and enjoy a hands-on cooking demonstration.
Next, marvel at the majestic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site. While
the full climb may be too steep for little legs, the outer garden and water features are perfect
for gentle exploration.

Day 4 - Through Scents, Spices & Scenic Hills…
Kandy
Sri Lankan spice garden is a popular tourist attraction as it gives an overview about the
herbs and spices in Sri Lanka.
Kids can sniff, touch and mix their own herbal pouch while mom enjoy a relaxing herbal foot
massage.
Kandy is the last royal capital of Sri Lanka, surrounded by lush forests and ancient charm.
The sacred temple of Tooth Relic where Buddhists all over the world venerate the sacred
Tooth Relic of the Buddha located in the heart of Kandy town with a scenic Kandy Lake.
This city is also a shopping location to see and purchase Gem and Jewelry, Silk and Handloom
and other souvenirs also.
Evening head out to experience the Cultural Dance Show where traditional Sri Lankan
dances and drumming will captivate kids and adults alike.

- Midday stop and smell the Sri Lankan spices at Matale – let the little girl mix her own herbal pouch

Day 5 - A Tea Trail Through the hills…
Nuwara Eliya
Ceylon Tea is one of the finest tea in the world. You will discover the secrets behind this,
together with your little ones today. Try your hand at tea plucking – a fun, hands-on
experience for kids and a beautiful photo opportunity for moms.
Nuwara Eliya, fondly known as “Little England” for its colonial charm and cool climate. The
Gregory Lake, Colonial buildings and peaceful mountain air are waiting for you to share
some nice stories.
Dinner & Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.
Activities:
- After breakfast check out and leave to Nuwara Eliya
- Tea Plucking experience en route.
- Visit a tea factory and taste a cup of fresh Ceylon tea

Day 6 - A Magical train ride…
Ella - Nine Arches Bridge
Head to Nanu Oya railway station and board the train bound for Ella. Wind through lush
green plantations, misty mountains, waterfalls and tiny hillside villages made this ride as the
world’s best scenic train ride. Also the rhythem of the train feels like a lullaby for little ones.
Ella is blessed with one of the panoramic view points in Sri Lanka such as Liittle Adams Peak,
Ella Gap, Nine Arch Bridge, Lipton Seat and Ella Rock. Moreover there are plenty of activities
are waiting to explore such as Zipline, Yoga, Cooking and so many.

- Take an enjoyable train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella

Day 7 - From Hills to the coast…
Turtle Farms offers a hands-on experience of sea turtles –from tiny hatchlings to fully grown
adults. Kids will love the chance to gently hold baby turtles and maybe even see them being
released in to the sea. (Seasonal)
Dinner & Overnight stay at Beruwala.

- Leave to Beruwala
- Visit the Turtle Farm and release baby turtles to the sea

Wake up to a peaceful morning and enjoy a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Return to the hotel for a refreshing lunch, followed by more time to relax at your own pace. Day 9 - Bye Colombo Sri Lanka…

admire colonial architecture, and soak in ocean views along Galleface Green.
