Day 2 - Dolukanda Mountain Trek- Mythical Climb…
Dambulla - cave temple
Pidurangala is a majestic rock formation located just north of Sigiriya, offering panoramic
views of the surrounding jungle and the iconic Lion rock. Often visited at sunrise or sunset,
the climb to the summit is both peaceful and spiritual uplifting. Along the way, you’ll pass
ancient cave temples and reclining Buddha statues that hint at its sacred history. At the top,
you are rewarded with one of the Sri Lanka’s most breathtaking vistas-an ideal moment for
reflection and serenity. Dolukanda also known as a Sanjeewani drop is a mountain located about 30km away from Kurunegala town. According to the legends this mountain has direct link with the great
Indian epic trail Ramayana. Still this place is one of the untapped and peaceful attractions
in Sri Lanka, but it makes the nature lovers and adventure seekers wonder.
